Does anyone know how to be able to save passwords again in Firefox if you've accidentally clicked the "never save password" button? I've googled it but all I see are tips from a couple years ago that talk about a "never save password" tab in the passwords place under privacy. Alas, I don't have that folder and none of the sites/boards I'm getting seem to be dated past 2006.

I went to respond to some comments on the username meme but, alas, it was maxed out. I also want to (have to, really) write but I just get so DAMN TIRED. It sucks. I'm SO CLOSE to finishing this fic based on cathbites' drawing from a few weeks ago but SO TIRED. :( I am still thinking about making a fic filter for writing in general and to maybe bounce around BigBang ideas because although I thought I had one totally picked I'm wondering on another one. I'm having trouble picking!

Capping SPN makes me want to icon it like whoa, too. I want to icon SO BADLY as well but again- tired. Lame.

Anyway.

LJ has launched their new "adult content" flagging system. If you all check out your flists you'll notice a really ugly new button adorning each entry. I can't wait until the people blessed with coding skills override the systems to change that shit out.

Details are here in the lj_biz community but from a comment in that post it seems this info has been buried in another post in the actual LJ news community. Spread the word, flag your own entries and, I guess, wait to see what happens? I don't know.

There's still no word on how things will go if someone flags your entries and the post/journal goes up for review with the LJ team and how the appeals process will work. Apparently if your entries are flagged a lot, then it draws the attention of the LJ team which I guess is good if you accidentally hit the button.

[ETA] I've just tested out this new thing. I set my over-all journal content (you do that here) to explicit (I don't know exactly what LJ is deeming to be "explicit" and what's simply an "adult concept" and they haven't come out and stated that officially AT ALL so I'm not going to debate it).

Then with the spn_watcher account, which didn't have a birthday set, I went to view my journal. My user info was fine. But when I tried to click into my journal I got a big page asking me to verify I was over 18. Fine, I did. When I got into my journal every single entry except for this one (because I flagged it as having NO adult content) has been cut-tagged with "You are about to view content that may only be appropriate for adults" as the tag line.

I went back and set the spn_watcher birthday to be 15 years old. When I tried to view my explicitly rated journal again I was greeted with a big page that said I was not allowed to view the journal because it contained content suitable for adults only.

So. This leads me to believe that a) there are going to be a hell of a lot of people lying about their age or b) there will be a lot of journals without birth dates. I'm thinking they'll be lying about their ages more cause seeing all those entries cut with that damn warning is ANNOYING. And EVERYTHING is cut, including images. It's weird.

I like the IDEA and it's not out of the ordinary but change sucks and this is going to be a pain in the ass.

In other news, I kind of want to do an icon battle like the one here. Anyone have any experience with those?
